The win32kfull.sys Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error can be a frustrating experience for Windows 10 users. This error is often caused by glitches in your computer system, corrupt system files, or outdated drivers. It is important to understand that this error can be fixed, and there are several methods to resolve the issue.

In this article, we will discuss some of the most effective methods to fix the win32kfull.sys BSOD error on Windows 10.

Method 1: Update Windows 10

The first and easiest method to fix win32kfull.sys BSOD is by updating your Windows 10 operating system. Here are a few simple steps to follow to update your Windows:

  1. Open the Windows Start menu and click on the Settings icon.
  2. Click on Update & Security.
  3. Click on Check for updates.
  4. Wait for the updates to download and install.

Once the updates are installed, restart your computer and check if the problem persists. If it does, move on to the next method.

Method 2: Update your drivers

Outdated or incompatible drivers are a common cause of the win32kfull.sys BSOD error. Therefore, it is important to keep your drivers up to date. Here’s how you can check for and update your drivers:

  1. Press Windows + X keys together to open the Quick Link menu.
  2. Click on Device Manager.
  3. Scroll down and expand each category to check if any devices have a yellow exclamation mark.
  4. Right-click on the device and select Update driver.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the driver.

Repeat this process for each device with a yellow exclamation mark. Once done, restart your computer and check if the error has been resolved.

Method 3: Repair corrupt system files

Corrupt system files are often the root cause of the win32kfull.sys BSOD error. You can use the built-in System File Checker tool to repair any corrupt system files. Follow these easy steps:

  1. Type “command prompt” into the Windows search bar.
  2. Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
  3. Type “sfc /scannow” and press Enter.
  4. Wait for the scan to complete.
  5. Once the scan is finished, close the Command Prompt window.

Restart your computer and see if the error is fixed.

Method 4: Run a virus scan

Malware or virus infections can also cause the win32kfull.sys BSOD error. Run a full system scan using your antivirus software to remove any malicious threats. Follow these steps:

  1. Open your antivirus software.
  2. Click on Scan.
  3. Choose the Full system scan option.
  4. Wait for the scan to complete.
  5. Once done, restart your computer and check if the error has been resolved.

If none of the above methods work, you may need to seek help from a professional technician.
