Apple Watch users enjoy the convenience of having their text messages mirrored from their iPhone to their Watch. However, there are times when the mirroring feature does not work, causing inconvenience and frustration.

If you’re having trouble with your Apple Watch not mirroring iPhone messages, there are several steps you can take to fix it. Here are some tips you can try:

  1. Check your iPhone’s settings

To make sure that your Apple Watch is properly configured, check your iPhone’s settings. Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and make sure that your Apple ID is selected. Also, make sure that your phone number is checked under “You Can Be Reached by iMessage at”.

  1. Turn off and on the iMessage feature

Turning the iMessage feature off and on again can help reset your device’s connection with your Apple Watch. Go to Settings > Messages and toggle the iMessage feature off and then on again.

  1. Restart your Apple Watch

Sometimes all that is needed is a simple restart. To restart your Apple Watch, press and hold the side button until the Power Off slider appears. Then, drag the slider to turn off your device. Once the watch has turned off, press and hold the same button to turn it back on again.

  1. Unpair and pair your Apple Watch

If none of the previous steps work, try unpairing and pairing your Apple Watch again with your iPhone. To do this, go to the Watch app on your iPhone, select your watch, and then tap “Unpair Apple Watch”. Then, follow the steps to pair your watch again and ensure that message forwarding is enabled.

  1. Update your iPhone

If your iPhone is not running on the latest operating system, this may be the reason why your Apple Watch is not mirroring messages. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to see if there are any updates available for your device.

  1. Contact Apple support

If none of these steps work, it may be time to contact Apple support. There may be a technical issue with your device that requires professional help.

In conclusion, fixing an Apple Watch not mirroring iPhone messages is not too complicated, and there are several things you can do to get it working again. By following these tips, you can ensure that you stay connected with your friends and family even when you’re on the go.
