1. Reflect on your own beliefs: Begin the journey of finding God by reflecting on your current spiritual and religious beliefs. Understand where you stand and what you believe in.

2. Define your concept of God: Identify what form or concept of a Higher Power makes sense to you – whether as a traditional deity, Universal consciousness, Nature, etc.

3. Educate yourself on different religions and spiritual paths: Research various religious traditions and spiritual paths such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and others to understand different perspectives on the concept of a Higher Power.

4. Open your heart and mind: Embrace the open-mindedness that allows you to consider other perspectives without judgment or fear. Be receptive to new ideas and thoughts that may come across your path.

5. Seek guidance from others who have found God: Connect with people who have discovered their relationship with the Divine through different paths. Listen to their stories and seek guidance on how they found God in their lives.

6. Develop a personal relationship with the Divine: Set aside time each day for prayer or meditation to foster a more profound connection with a Higher Power.

7. Explore your own spirituality through personal experiences: Engage in activities that ignite your spiritual self, such as spending time in nature, creating art or music, volunteering for good causes, or reading about spiritual growth.

8. Welcome moments of wonder and awe into your life: Embrace instances that fill you with awe and wonder – they can be reminders that there’s something greater at work in the world and beyond.

9. Practice daily gratitude: Focus on gratitude for blessings in your life as an expression of recognizing the presence of a Higher Power.

10. Seek forgiveness and provide it to others: Forgiveness allows you to release bitterness and wounds inflicted upon you by others or injuries that may have disrupted your relationship with God.

11. Contemplate life’s big questions: Take time to ponder questions like, “What is my purpose?”, “Why am I here?”, and “What lies beyond this life?” This introspection can lead to deeper spiritual understanding.

12. Trust the process and have faith: Understand that finding God doesn’t happen overnight. It is a continual process of seeking, learning, and experiencing – and sometimes you need to take leaps of faith.

13. Surrender to the journey: Embrace the uncertainty of searching for God and know that every step you take is moving you closer toward the discovery of a divine relationship.

By following these 13 steps, you can embark on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth that will ultimately help you find your own unique path to connecting with God or your Higher Power. Be patient, persevere, and trust in the beauty of your personal journey.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
