The Night Light feature in Windows 10 and 11 is designed to reduce the amount of blue light emitted by your device’s screen, making it easier on the eyes in low light conditions. This feature can be especially helpful during nighttime, when the bright blue light emitted by your screen can disrupt your sleep cycle.

Enabling Night Light on Windows 10 and 11 is easy and can be done in just a few steps. Here’s how:

Step 1: Open the Settings app

Click on the Start menu or press the Windows key on your keyboard to open the Start menu. Then, click on the gear icon to open the Settings app.

Step 2: Access the “System” settings

In the Settings app, click on the “System” icon to access the System settings.

Step 3: Turn on Night Light

In the System settings, click on the “Display” tab, then scroll down to find the “Night Light” option. Toggle the switch to the “On” position to enable Night Light.

Step 4: Customize Night Light settings

Once Night Light is enabled, you can customize its settings to your liking. Click on the “Night Light settings” link to access these settings. Here, you can adjust the color temperature of Night Light, set a schedule for it to turn on and off automatically, and even create custom schedules.

Step 5: Turn off Night Light

If you want to turn off Night Light, simply toggle the switch in the Display settings to the “Off” position.

In conclusion, enabling Night Light on Windows 10 and 11 is a simple process that can greatly benefit your eye health and sleep cycle. With just a few clicks, you can reduce the amount of blue light emitted by your device’s screen and enjoy a more comfortable viewing experience.
