If you’re new to the world of burritos, you may feel a bit confused about how to properly eat this delicious, overstuffed delight. Worry not! Follow these 14 simple steps, and you’ll be mastering the art of eating a burrito in no time.

1. Choose your burrito wisely: Start by selecting a burrito with your favorite filling and an ideal size that you can comfortably handle.

2. Unwrap it partially: Remove the foil or paper wrapping from the top half of your burrito, but keep the bottom part wrapped for support and mess-free eating.

3. Secure your grip: Hold the burrito firmly with both hands, keeping your thumbs underneath for additional support.

4. Choose the right angle: Tilt your head slightly and bring the burrito towards your mouth at an angle that allows for easy biting.

5. Take small bites: Rather than trying to stuff your face with huge bites, take small, manageable bites that let you enjoy all the flavors together.

6. Pace yourself: Eating a burrito is a marathon, not a sprint! Slow down and savor each bite to prevent overstuffing yourself.

7. Keep it balanced: To ensure an even distribution of ingredients in every bite, try to maintain an equal amount of filling throughout by rotating and evenly compressing the burrito as needed.

8. Use utensils when necessary: If any filling spills out or gets messy, don’t be afraid to use a fork or knife to help guide it back into the tortilla.

9. Clean up as you go: Keep napkins handy for any spills or messy fingers during the eating process.

10. Embrace sauce additions: Enhance your burrito experience by using salsa, hot sauce, or sour cream as desired for added flavor and variety.

11. Drink water between bites: Drinking water between bites will help cleanse your palate and can aid digestion by breaking down the food in your mouth.

12. Save the bottom for last: As you near the bottom, you may need to remove some of the excess wrapping and reposition any straggling ingredients. Finish it with a few final, satisfying bites.

13. Dispose of the wrapper: Once you’ve conquered your burrito, ensure that you properly dispose of the used foil or paper wrapping in a waste bin.

14. Reflect on your accomplishment: Take a moment to appreciate your burrito-eating journey and get ready for the next culinary adventure!

By following these 14 steps, you’ll be able to fully enjoy a delectable burrito while minimizing mess and maximizing enjoyment. Happy eating!
