1.Understand your body type: Knowing your body shape is essential to determining what clothes will flatter you best. This knowledge can help you make better choices when shopping and dressing.

2.Choose the right fit: Always try on clothing to ensure it fits properly. Clothes that are too tight or too loose will be uncomfortable and unflattering. Aim for a tailored look with clothing that skims your body without clinging or bagging.

3.Invest in wardrobe staples: Some essential items every man should have include a pair of dark jeans, well-fitting t-shirts, dress shirts, tailored trousers, a quality blazer, and comfortable dress shoes.

4.Know the dress code: It’s important to understand different dress codes and styles, such as business casual, semi-formal, and smart casual. Know what’s appropriate for specific occasions and settings.

5.Focus on quality rather than quantity: High-quality clothing not only lasts longer but also tends to look better. Invest in high-quality garments that you can mix and match with other pieces in your wardrobe.

6.Pay attention to color coordination: Learn how to mix and match colors properly for outfits that are visually appealing. Generally, stick to a base color palette like neutrals and add a pop of color through accessories or statement pieces.

7.Don’t forget the accessories: Adding accessories such as belts, ties, watches, and sunglasses can elevate your look without much effort. Use them wisely to complement the rest of your outfit.

8.Keep your clothes clean and well-maintained: Regularly clean and iron your clothes, treating any stains promptly so they don’t set in. This helps maintain their appearance and longevity.

9.Be mindful of grooming: A great outfit can be overshadowed by poor grooming habits. Make sure your hair is clean and styled as necessary, facial hair is groomed, and nails are clean and trimmed.

10.Dress for the occasion: Always consider where you’re going and what you’ll be doing while dressed in a particular outfit. Dress up for formal events and dress down for casual outings, making sure you always look polished and put-together.

11.Confidence is key: Arguably the most important tip is to feel confident in the clothes you wear. No matter how well-dressed you are, it’s vital that you feel comfortable so that your confidence shines through. Wear what makes you feel your best, and display that confidence with pride.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
