Tinder is one of the most popular dating apps in the world, with over 50 million users worldwide. However, sometimes, despite finding potential partners or going on a few dates, you may decide that you want to delete the app once and for all. Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Open the Tinder app

The first step to deleting Tinder is to open the app on your smartphone. Once you have launched the app, you will need to log in to your account.

Step 2: Tap on your Profile

Once you are logged into the app, tap on your profile picture located in the upper left corner of the screen. The profile picture will take you to your account information.

Step 3: Tap on Settings

After clicking on your profile, look for the settings button located at the top of the page. Tap on settings to access your Tinder account settings.

Step 4: Scroll down to the App Settings Section

After clicking on settings, scroll down until you find the “App Settings” section. This section is just below the “Discovery Preferences” section.

Step 5: Tap on Delete Account

Under “App Settings,” you will see a “Delete Account” option. Tap on it to begin the process of deleting your Tinder account.

Step 6: Confirm your Decision

After clicking “Delete Account,” a confirmation message will appear on the screen. Make sure to read the message carefully before you proceed. If you are sure of your decision, tap on the “Delete My Account” button to complete the process.

Step 7: Uninstall the App

The final step is to uninstall the Tinder app from your smartphone. This will erase all traces of the app from your device

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
