Pinterest is one of the most popular social networking sites used by people worldwide to find inspiration and new ideas for their daily lives. Pinterest users create boards and pins to organize and save their favorite content, and these can come in handy as references for future projects.

However, it’s normal to delete pins from Pinterest over time, and this might be because they do not serve any purpose anymore or because you’ve moved on from that style or idea. Whatever your reason may be, it’s essential to know how to delete pins on Pinterest.

In this article, we’ll walk through the process of deleting pins on Pinterest in detail, so you can do it easily without any errors.

Step by step guide on How to Delete Pins on Pinterest

Step 1: Open your Pinterest Account.

Log in to your Pinterest account by entering your username or email address and password. You will need to make sure that your profile is already set up before proceeding.

Step 2: Access your Boards.

Once you are logged in, click on the “Boards” icon, which is at the top of the Pinterest page. It’s the small square-shaped icon with the image of a pin located between the magnifying glass and envelope icons.

Step 3: Choose a Board.

Choose the board that you wish to delete a pin from by clicking on it. You will be directed to a page showing all the pins in that board.

Step 4: Select the Pin.

Select the pin that you want to delete. Hover your cursor over the pin you wish to remove, and you’ll see some small menu icons appear in the upper left-hand corner of the pin.

Step 5: Click the Delete Icon.

Click on the small “Delete” icon in the top left-hand corner of the pin. This icon looks like a trash can. Once you click on it, a pop-up message will appear, asking you to confirm that you want to delete the pin.

Step 6: Confirm your Selection.

Read the message carefully and then click the “Delete” option to confirm your selection. The pin will then be removed from your board.

Final Words:

Deleting a pin on Pinterest is just that simple. With the guidelines explained in this article, you can quickly remove any unwanted or outdated pins and keep your boards organized and updated. As a Pinterest user, organizing and editing content is an essential task that ensures the relevancy of the content on display. So if you need to clean up your boards or tidy up some pins, go ahead, refer to this guide, and get it done in a snap.
