Facebook is a social media platform that allows you to connect with friends and share your thoughts with the world. However, not all comments on your posts may be positive, and sometimes you may want to delete them. In this article, we will guide you through the steps on how to delete comments on your Facebook posts.

Steps to delete comments on your Facebook posts:

Step 1: Open Facebook and log in to your account.

Step 2: Browse to the post where you want to delete a comment.

Step 3: Find the comment you want to delete and hover your cursor over it until you see a three-dot icon appearing on the right side of the comment.

Step 4: Click on the three-dot icon, and a drop-down menu will appear.

Step 5: Select the ‘delete’ option from the drop-down menu.

Step 6: A confirmation box will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion. Click on ‘delete’ to proceed.

Step 7: The comment will be deleted from your post.

Some things to keep in mind while deleting comments on Facebook posts:

1. Deleting a comment will permanently remove it from the post, and it cannot be retrieved later.

2. You can only delete comments that are made on your posts or pages you manage.

3. If you delete a comment that someone else made, they will be notified that their comment has been deleted.

4. If you want to remove multiple comments from a post, you will have to repeat the steps for each comment.

5. Deleting a comment on a post will not delete the post itself.

In conclusion, deleting comments on Facebook is a simple process that can help you remove negative or spammy comments from your posts. We hope this guide has helped you understand how to delete comments on your Facebook posts. Remember to use this feature responsibly and ensure that you maintain a healthy and positive environment on your social media platforms.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
