Apple TV is a popular streaming device that allows you to watch your favorite content on your TV. The drawback of Apple TV is that it can only be controlled with an Apple device, but what if you don’t have an iPhone or iPad? Don’t worry, you can still control Apple TV with your Android.

In this article, we will show you how to control your Apple TV with your Android device using the Apple TV Remote App.

Step 1: Download the Apple TV Remote App

The first step is to download the Apple TV Remote App on your Android device. Open the Google Play Store and search for “Apple TV Remote App”. Once you find it, click on “Install”. The app is free of charge.

Step 2: Connect Your Android Device to the Same Wi-Fi Network as Your Apple TV

Make sure that your Android device and Apple TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. This is a prerequisite for the app to function correctly.

Step 3: Launch the Apple TV Remote App

Launch the Apple TV Remote App on your Android device. You should see your Apple TV listed on the screen. Click on it to connect.

Step 4: Start Enjoying Your Favorite Content

Once you’re connected, you can start using the app to control your Apple TV. The app includes all the standard controls you would expect, such as a D-pad, playback controls, and more.

You can also use your Android device’s keyboard to search for content, which is much quicker than using the on-screen keyboard that is available with the Siri remote.

In conclusion, even if you don’t have an iPhone or iPad, you can still control your Apple TV using the Apple TV Remote App on your Android device. With the ability to control your TV from your phone, you can easily navigate and search through content – all without having to dig out the remote control.
