For gamers who love to travel, making sure your PlayStation 4 is connected to the hotel Wi-Fi is essential in ensuring your gaming experience remains uninterrupted. However, we all know that connecting any device to hotel Wi-Fi can be a bit tricky. But with a bit of patience and these helpful steps, you’ll be well on your way to gaming paradise.

Step 1: Check with the Hotel

The first step in connecting your PS4 to the hotel Wi-Fi is to check with the hotel’s front desk or concierge to ensure that they allow their guests to connect gaming consoles to their Wi-Fi network.

Some hotels may have restrictions on gaming consoles due to network bandwidth issues. If the hotel allows gaming consoles, they may provide you with a separate login and password or steps to follow in order to connect your PS4 to the Wi-Fi.

Step 2: Go to Settings

Once you have confirmed that the hotel allows gaming consoles on their Wi-Fi network, go to the settings on your PS4. Click on “Network” and then select “Set up Internet Connection”.

Step 3: Select Wi-Fi

In the “Set up Internet Connection” screen, select “Use Wi-Fi” and then select “Easy”.

Step 4: Select Your Hotel’s Wi-Fi Network

Your PS4 will now search for wireless networks available in the area. Select your hotel’s Wi-Fi network, which should be listed on the screen. This may be found under the “SSID” option.

Step 5: Enter the Password

Depending on the hotel, you may need to enter a password to connect to their Wi-Fi network. This is often given to you by the hotel staff upon check-in. If you do not have the password, contact the front desk for assistance.

Enter the password and select “Next”. You will then be asked to select your “Easy” settings in the next screen.

Step 6: Set Up Connection Settings

In the next screen, your PS4 will automatically choose the best settings for connecting to the hotel’s Wi-Fi. Select “Done” once the settings have been chosen.

Step 7: Test the Connection

After setting up the connection settings, your PS4 will ask if you would like to test the connection. Select “Test Internet Connection” to ensure the connection to the hotel’s Wi-Fi is successful.

If your PS4 is successfully connected to the hotel’s Wi-Fi, you will be able to access the internet and start gaming.
