Safari is one of the most commonly used browsers by iOS users, with its sleek design, fast performance, and seamless integration with other Apple devices. However, users may find that they have numerous tabs open on their iPhones or iPads, which can clutter the browser and drain battery life. Fortunately, there is a way to quickly and easily close all Safari tabs on iOS.

Step 1:

Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2:

Tap and hold down the tab icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. This will bring up a new menu.

Step 3:

Select “Close All Tabs” at the bottom of the menu.

Step 4:

Confirm that you want to close all tabs by tapping “Close All Tabs” again in the pop-up message.

Step 5:

All of your open tabs will now be closed, leaving you with a fresh start. You can begin browsing again without any distractions or clutter.

Alternatively, you can also close individual Safari tabs by tapping on the “X” in the top left-hand corner of each tab.

By following these simple steps, you can quickly and easily close all tabs in Safari on your iPhone or iPad. This can help improve performance and save battery life, as well as make browsing more efficient and enjoyable. So, the next time you find yourself overwhelmed with open tabs, remember to use this handy feature to clear them all out in one fell swoop.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
