How to Clean a Clear Phone Case

If you have a clear phone case, you know that watching the grime accumulate on it can be frustrating. While it may be tempting to ignore the dirt and let it build up, that can cause problems. For one, the germs that accumulate can make you sick if you use your phone without a clean case. Additionally, a dirty phone case can obscure the beauty of your phone, and it can make the case itself look unattractive. So what can you do to keep your phone case clean?

1. Use Soap and Water

The easiest way to clean a clear phone case is by using soap and water. Begin by removing your phone from the case, so you can work with it more easily. Pour some mild dish soap on a damp cloth and begin cleaning the case. Make sure you clean every nook and cranny of the case, so you don’t miss any dirt. Once you’re done cleaning, dry the case with a dry cloth.

2. Use Vinegar and Water

If your phone case has stubborn stains, you can try using vinegar and water. Mix equal parts of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle, and lightly spray the solution onto the case. Let it soak for a few minutes, and then rinse it with warm water. The acid in the vinegar should kill any germs and make it easier to clean the case.

3. Use Rubbing Alcohol

Another excellent way to clean your phone case is by using rubbing alcohol. Mix equal parts of rubbing alcohol and water in a spray bottle and apply it to the case. The alcohol will break down any grease and grime on the case, making it easy to wipe away. Be sure to use a soft cloth or a microfiber towel to prevent scratching the case.

4. Use Baking Soda and Water

If you don’t have any soap, vinegar, or alcohol in your home, you can use baking soda and water. Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a few drops of water, and make a paste. Dip a toothbrush or a cloth in the paste, and scrub the case gently. Once you’re done, rinse the case with warm water.

Final Thoughts

A clear phone case can be a great way to protect your phone, but it can also be a magnet for dirt and grime. With these simple tips, you can make sure that your phone and phone case stay clean and free of germs. Remember to clean your phone case regularly and avoid using any harsh chemicals that can damage it.
