Instagram is a popular social media platform that allows you to connect with the world, share your life and interests. The platform uses your phone number as a means of identification and verification, making it essential to keep your phone number up to date. In this article, we will guide you on how to change your phone number on Instagram.

Step 1:

Open the Instagram app on your phone.

Step 2:

Tap on your profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Step 3:

Tap on the three lines located in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 4:

Once the menu appears, tap on “settings” located at the bottom of the list.

Step 5:

From the settings page, tap on “Account” and then tap on “Phone Number.”

Step 6:

Here, you will have to enter your new phone number, ensure that it is entered correctly.

Step 7:

Click on “Next,” and Instagram will send you a verification code to your new phone number.

Step 8:

Enter the verification code in the space provided, and your new phone number will be confirmed.

Step 9:

You can now log in to Instagram using your new phone number.

In conclusion, changing your phone number on Instagram is a simple and easy process. Follow the steps outlined above, and you will have your new phone number linked to your Instagram account in no time. It is essential to keep your phone number up to date, especially when using social media platforms that rely on it for verification purposes.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
