The iPhone’s charging sound is a default setting that many people have come to recognize as a signal that their device is getting juiced up. However, not everyone likes the standard charging sound, and some may prefer to customize it to suit their taste or create a more unique experience. Luckily, there are a few simple steps you can take to change your iPhone’s charging sound.

Step 1: Choose a new sound

The first step in changing your iPhone’s charging sound is to decide on a new sound that you would like to use. You can choose any sound from your music library, ringtones or download one from an online source. Make sure to pick a sound that you would like to hear every time you connect your iPhone to a power source.

Step 2: Connect your iPhone to a computer

To change your iPhone’s charging sound, you will need to connect your iPhone to a computer. Make sure your computer is running the latest version of iTunes.

Step 3: Open iTunes

Once your iPhone is connected to your computer, open iTunes. You should see your iPhone listed on the left side of the screen.

Step 4: Click on your iPhone

Click on your iPhone to open its settings page.

Step 5: Go to the Sounds settings

On your iPhone’s settings page, go to the Sounds section.

Step 6: Change the charging sound

Under Sounds and Vibration Patterns, look for the Charging section. Click on it and then select the sound you want to use for charging. Click “Apply” to save the changes.

Step 7: Disconnect your iPhone

Once the changes are saved, you can safely disconnect your iPhone from your computer. Your iPhone will now play your new charging sound whenever it is connected to a power source.

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in.
