Changing your birthday on Facebook is a pretty simple process. However, it is a decision that you should make after giving it some thought, as your friends and family may be notified of the change and may want to send you birthday wishes on your new date. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to change your birthday on Facebook.

Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account

The first step is to log in to your Facebook account. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it using your email address or phone number associated with the account.

Step 2: Go to your profile page

Once you have logged in, click on your profile picture or name to get to your profile page.

Step 3: Click on ‘About’ section

On your profile page, there is a menu on the left-hand side. Scroll down and click on the ‘About’ section.

Step 4: Click on ‘Contact and Basic Info’

Under the ‘About’ section, there is a column on the right-hand side with different categories. Click on ‘Contact and Basic Info.’

Step 5: Click on ‘Edit’ next to your birthdate

Under the ‘Contact and Basic Info’ section, you will see your birthdate. Click on the ‘Edit’ button next to the date.

Step 6: Make changes to your birthdate

After clicking on ‘Edit,’ you will be able to make changes to your birthdate. Select the new date from the drop-down menus for month, day, and year.

Step 7: Save changes

Once you have made the changes, click on ‘Save Changes.’

Step 8: Confirm your changes

Facebook will ask you to confirm your changes. You will be asked if you want to keep your new birthdate private or if you want to make it public. Make your selection, and then click on ‘Continue.’

Step 9: Enter your password

To confirm your changes, you will be prompted to enter your password. Enter your password and then click on ‘Save Changes.’

Conclusion

Changing your birthday on Facebook is a quick and easy process. However, you should remember that this change will be visible to your friends and family. So, it is essential to give it some thought before making the change. Additionally, changing your birthdate too often may raise concerns with Facebook, so it’s best to stick to your authentic birthdate unless you have concrete reasons to change it.
