As a customer of Netflix, you may have experienced a situation where you need to change the payment method linked to your account. Whether you are trying to switch to a new credit card, or change from credit card to PayPal, the process of changing payment method on Netflix is quite simple. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to follow for updating your payment method on this streaming platform.

Steps to Change the Payment Method on Netflix

Step 1: Log into your Netflix account

Start by connecting to the Netflix website and signing into your account. Enter your email address and password to access your account page.

Step 2: Navigate to the Account page

After you have logged into your Netflix account, navigate to the upper-right corner of the page and click on your profile picture. From the dropdown list, select “Account” to proceed to your account settings.

Step 3: Choose “Change Payment Method”

Once you are on your account page, scroll down to the “Membership & Billing” section and select “Change Payment Method.”

Step 4: Enter the new payment information

On the next page, enter the information for your new payment method. If you are switching from credit card to PayPal, select “PayPal” as your payment method, and enter your PayPal account information to link it to your Netflix account.

If you are switching to a new credit card, select “Credit or Debit Card” and enter your new card details. You will need to input your card number, expiration date, security code, and cardholder name.

Step 5: Submit the changes

After you have entered the new payment information, select “Update Payment” to submit the changes. Your account will be updated immediately, and you can start using the new payment method to pay for your Netflix subscription.

Conclusion

Changing the payment method on Netflix is a simple process that can be done in just a few minutes. By following the above steps, you can easily update your payment information, ensuring that your subscription remains active and uninterrupted. Keep in mind that if you are on a free trial, you will not be able to update your payment method until the trial period is over. Also, ensure that you have enough funds in your new payment method to avoid payment failure and account suspension.
