How to Change Notification Sounds for Each App on Your Android Phone

As an Android phone user, you may have noticed how all your app notifications sound the same. This can be quite inconvenient, especially when you have multiple apps installed on your phone. Fortunately, there is a way to change the notification sound for each app on your Android phone.

Here’s how you can do it:

1. Open the Settings app on your Android phone.

2. Scroll down until you see ‘Apps & notifications’ or ‘Applications’ and click on it.

3. In the list of apps displayed, click on the app whose notification sound you want to change.

4. Click on ‘App notifications.’

5. You will then see different notification categories, such as sound, vibration, notification dots, etc.

6. Click on ‘Sound.’

7. You’ll then see a list of notification sounds you can choose from. Scroll through the list and click on the sound you want to set for that app.

8. If you can’t find a sound you like in the list, you can choose to add a custom sound. Here’s how:

a. Click on ‘Add New Sound.’

b. Choose ‘Audio.’

c. In the file manager that opens, select the sound file you want to use.

d. Give the sound a name, and it will then appear in the list of notification sounds to choose from.

9. Save the changes you’ve made, and you’re done!

Repeat the process for every app whose notification sound you want to customize.

It is worth noting that not all Android phones have the same settings menu. So, if you can’t find ‘Apps & notifications’ on your phone, look for similar settings that may contain the same features.
