If you’re an Apple Watch user, you know that it’s a great tool for tracking your fitness and how active you are throughout the day. The watch comes with pre-set activity goals that help encourage you to move more and achieve better health. But what if you want to change these goals? Here’s everything you need to know about changing activity goals on your Apple Watch.

1. Launch the Activity app on your Apple Watch

The first step to changing activity goals on your Apple Watch is to launch the Activity app. To access the app, simply press the Digital Crown on the side of your Apple Watch and look for the Activity icon. Tap on it to open the app.

2. Scroll down to “Change Goals”

Once you’re in the Activity app, scroll down until you see the section titled “Change Goals.” This is where you can adjust your daily move, exercise, and stand goals.

3. Tap on the goal you want to change

Next, tap on the goal that you want to change. You’ll see three options: Move, Exercise, and Stand. Pick the one that you want to adjust.

4. Adjust the goal using the plus and minus buttons

Once you’ve selected the goal you want to change, you’ll see a screen with a slider and plus and minus buttons. You can use the plus and minus buttons to adjust the goal up or down. You can also use the slider to fine-tune the goal.

5. Tap “Update”

When you’re happy with the new goal, tap on the “Update” button. Your Apple Watch will update the goal and will now start tracking your progress towards the new target.

Changing your activity goals on your Apple Watch is a quick and easy process that can help you stay more motivated and achieve better health outcomes. By setting goals that are challenging but achievable, you can push yourself to be more active each day and see real improvements in your fitness over time. So why not give it a try and see how it can benefit you too!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
