iCloud Mail is an email service from Apple that provides users with an easy-to-use platform to send and receive emails. However, we all have our fair share of spam emails that we receive on a daily basis. Spam emails can cause a lot of annoyance, and in some cases, can be a phishing attempt to steal personal information. One way to prevent these emails from reaching your inbox is by blocking the sender. Here’s how to block a sender in iCloud Mail.

Step 1: Sign in to your iCloud Mail

Sign in to your iCloud Mail account using your Apple ID and Password.

Step 2: Open the Message from the Sender

Open the email message from the sender that you want to block.

Step 3: Click on the Flag Icon

Click on the flag icon located at the bottom of the message window.

Step 4: Click on the Block Sender Option

Click on the “Block Sender” option from the dropdown menu.

Step 5: Confirm the Action

A confirmation message will appear. Click on the “Block” button to confirm that you want to block the sender.

Step 6: The Sender is Now Blocked

The sender will now be blocked, and all future emails from that sender will be automatically deleted from your inbox.

Additionally, iCloud Mail allows users to unblock a sender if need be. To unblock a sender, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Click on the Settings Icon

Click on the settings icon located at the top right corner of the iCloud Mail window.

Step 2: Click on the Rules Option

Click on the “Rules” option from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Open the Blocked Sender List

Under the “Rules” tab, scroll down to the “Blocked Sender List” section.

Step 4: Uncheck the Blocked Sender option

Find the sender that you want to unblock and uncheck the “Blocked Sender” option next to their name.

Step 5: Save the Changes

Click on the “Done” button to save the changes.

In conclusion, blocking a sender in iCloud Mail is an excellent way of preventing unwanted emails from reaching your inbox. By following the steps outlined above, users can effectively block unwanted emails, and in some cases, prevent phishing attempts from cybercriminals. So, if you’ve been receiving spam emails in your iCloud Mail, take advantage of the blocking feature and enjoy a clutter-free inbox.
