Being envied is a reflection of not only the admiration others have for you, but also your influence and impact on those around you. While envy itself may seem negative, inspiring admiration and respect is an empowering feeling.

Here are 13 steps to cultivate envy:

1. Confidence: Confidence is the key to standing out and being envied. Nurture self-assurance and believe in your abilities. People gravitate towards those who exude confidence.

2. Always Look Your Best: Dress well, maintain good personal hygiene, and keep yourself groomed. These factors contribute greatly to making a good impression, setting an enviable image.

3. Develop Your Skills: Be good at what you do—whichever field or profession you choose. With hard work and determination, become skilled to make others want to learn from you.

4. Be Ambitious: Dream big and aim high. Strive to achieve your goals diligently, even if they seem unattainable at first. Your ambitious nature will inspire others.

5. Embrace Uniqueness: Stand out from the crowd by embracing your individuality. Highlight your strengths as well as peculiarities that make you special; this will make others admire your uniqueness.

6. Cultivate Friendships: Build strong relationships with people around you—friends, colleagues, or acquaintances—who can support you in times of need and help add value to each other’s lives.

7. Be Generous: Share your knowledge, skills, and resources with others without any expectation of receiving something in return. Your generosity will be remembered by many.

8. Remain Curious: Inquisitiveness can deepen your knowledge and understanding of the world around you while making others envy your resourcefulness.

9. Express Gratitude: Cultivate an attitude of gratitude towards life’s many blessings—big and small—and share them humbly with others- this will make them want to emulate your behavior.

10. Be Resilient: Life throws curveballs at everyone, but being able to bounce back and not let setbacks hinder your progress is truly enviable.

11. Practice Kindness: Extend a helping hand and be kind to others without any ulterior motives. Sometimes, people are envied solely because of their kindheartedness and willingness to help.

12. Stay Positive: No matter the situation, maintain positivity and optimism, which will radiate towards others. A positive attitude is irresistible and truly admirable.

13. Humility: Lastly, temper all of these qualities with a sense of humility. This balance will make others appreciate you even more as they genuinely admire your successes while respecting your grounded nature.

By following these 13 steps, you can work towards becoming a person who not only inspires envy but most importantly, earns genuine admiration from those around you.
