If you are an admin of a Facebook page, you may encounter situations where you need to ban a user from your page. Whether they are spamming your page with irrelevant content or harassing other users, banning them is a necessary step to maintain a positive and safe environment for your followers. Here are the steps to ban someone from your Facebook page:

Step 1: Access your Facebook page

Log in to your Facebook account and navigate to your page.

Step 2: Go to the Page Settings

Click on the “Settings” button located at the top right corner of your page.

Step 3: Access the “People and Other Pages” tab

On the left-hand side of the page, click on the “People and Other Pages” tab.

Step 4: Find the user you want to ban

Scroll through the list of people who have liked your page until you find the user you want to ban. You can also use the search bar to find them quickly.

Step 5: Click on the three dots next to their name

Hover over the user’s name and click on the three dots that appear on the right-hand side.

Step 6: Choose “Ban from Page”

Select “Ban from Page” from the dropdown menu.

Step 7: Confirm the action

A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm the action. Click “Confirm” to ban the user from your page.

Step 8: Review your Banned Users list

To see a list of all the users you have banned from your page, go back to the “People and Other Pages” tab and click on the “Banned People and Pages” section.

Banning a user from your Facebook page is a simple process that can be done in just a few clicks. By taking this step, you can ensure that your page remains a safe and positive community for your followers.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
