Sending a postcard is an excellent way to share your experiences with friends, family, or loved ones. However, to ensure that your postcard reaches its intended recipient, it’s crucial to address it correctly. Follow these six simple steps to properly address a postcard and keep your message on track.

1. Choose the right postcard: Before you begin writing, make sure you have a postcard that meets postal regulations. It should not be too small or too large and should be made of suitable material, such as paper or thin cardboard.

2. Write the message: On the left side of the postcard, write your message in clear and legible handwriting. Be sure to focus on key details and highlights of your experience while keeping it concise.

3. Leave space for the recipient’s address: Ensure there is ample space on the right side of the postcard for the recipient’s address and postage stamp.

4. Write the recipient’s name and address: Begin by writing the recipient’s full name on the top-right side of the postcard. On the next line, include their street address or P.O. Box number, followed by their city, state/province or territory, and zip/postal code on separate lines.

5. Include the country (if necessary): If you are mailing your postcard internationally, write out the name of the recipient’s country in all capital letters on a separate line below their address.

6. Affix postage stamp: Place an appropriate postage stamp in the upper-right corner of your postcard based on its destination and weight. Be sure to use sufficient postage – underpaid mail may be returned or delayed.

By following these six steps for addressing a postcard correctly, you’ll ensure that your message easily reaches its destination without any issues. Happy writing!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
