Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Play Some Games on the Nintendo Switch Lite

The Nintendo Switch Lite is a compact and portable gaming console that has become increasingly popular among gamers. While it is an excellent device for playing some of the best games, there are certain titles that you should avoid playing on the Nintendo Switch Lite. Here’s why:

1. Games that Require Joy-Con Controllers

The Nintendo Switch Lite doesn’t have detachable Joy-Con controllers like the original Nintendo Switch. Therefore, games that require Joy-Con controllers, such as 1-2 Switch or Super Mario Party, are not suitable for the Nintendo Switch Lite. These games require players to detach the Joy-Con controllers from the console and use them individually, which is not possible on the Switch Lite.

2. Games with Motion Controls

The Nintendo Switch Lite is designed to be a portable gaming device, and it doesn’t support motion controls. Therefore, games that require motion controls, such as ARMS, are not recommended for the Switch Lite. These games rely heavily on motion controls and would require players to have the original Nintendo Switch with Joy-Con controllers to enjoy the gaming experience fully.

3. Games with Small Text or UI

The Nintendo Switch Lite has a smaller screen than the original Nintendo Switch, making it difficult to read small text or UI. Games that have tiny text or UI elements, such as The Witcher 3, are not ideal for the Switch Lite. These games rely on players to read a lot of small text, and playing them on the Switch Lite could cause discomfort, eye strain, or headaches.

4. Games with Local Multiplayer

Playing local multiplayer games on the Nintendo Switch Lite can be challenging since it does not support TV mode. Games that require multiple Switch consoles and TV mode, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, are not recommended for the Switch Lite. These games require players to play on different Switch consoles, and therefore, the Switch Lite is not the ideal device for playing them.

In conclusion, while the Nintendo Switch Lite is an excellent gaming console, there are games that you should not play on it. It is essential to check the game’s compatibility with the device and make informed purchase decisions to ensure you have the best gaming experience.
