Introduction

Are you tired of running out of iCloud storage? When your iPhone’s storage is full, it can be frustrating to choose what data or files to delete to free up space. However, fortunately, there’s a setting on your iPhone that can help you get more iCloud storage for free. In this article, we will show you how to unlock this feature and make the most use of the iCloud storage without spending a dime.

Step 1: Delete Unnecessary Data from Your iPhone

Before increasing your iCloud storage, it’s essential first to ensure that your device has enough free space. You can do this by deleting unnecessary data like old media files, apps, messages, or browser history. After cleaning up your device, you’ll gain extra space without spending anything.

Step 2: Optimize iPhone Storage Setting

The first step in maximizing your iCloud storage is enabling the “Optimize iPhone Storage” option. Follow these easy steps:

1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.

2. Tap on your name at the top of the screen.

3. Choose ‘iCloud’, followed by ‘Photos’.

4.setBounds(new Date()message.embed.fields.pushicon_urlIcloud_manage_storage-mxqP-400x300Then tap on the ‘Optimize iPhone Storage’ option.

By enabling this setting, your iPhone will automatically optimize and reduce the size of photos and videos stored on the device while keeping the full-resolution originals in iCloud.

Step 3: Disable Apps That Consume iCloud Storage

To get more free iCloud storage, it is essential to examine which apps consume a significant amount of storage and disable them if they’re not necessary. Here’s how to do that:

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Tap on your name at the top of the screen.

3. Head to ‘iCloud’ and then choose ‘Manage Storage’.

4. Here, you’ll see a list of apps that are consuming your iCloud storage. Tap on each app to see its detailed usage and choose whether to disable the app’s iCloud access or not.

Step 4: Utilize Alternative Cloud Storage Services

You can also use alternative cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive to free up space on your iPhone. By backing up your files and data to these services, you’ll create more room in your iCloud storage.

Conclusion

In conclusion, you can get more iCloud storage for free using the iPhone settings mentioned above. By optimizing iPhone storage, disabling unnecessary apps that consume iCloud space, and utilizing alternative cloud services, you can manage your iPhone’s data more effectively without having to pay for extra iCloud storage. Try out these tips today and enjoy a hassle-free experience with your iPhone’s storage.
