When it comes to conference calls, you want to make sure you stay professional and avoid any unnecessary background noise. The good news is that muting your iPhone during a conference call is quite easy. In this article, we will guide you through the steps you need to follow to mute your iPhone during a conference call.

Step 1: Tap the Mute Button

The easiest way to mute your iPhone during a conference call is by tapping the mute button. This button looks like a microphone with a slash through it and is located at the bottom left corner of your screen during a call.

Simply tap the mute button to mute your iPhone. A red line will appear over the icon, indicating that your device is now on mute.

Step 2: Mute Your iPhone from the Control Center

Alternatively, you can also mute your iPhone from the control center. To do this, swipe down from the top right corner of your screen to access the control center.

Next, locate the green icon that features a phone before tapping on it. Now, the icon should turn gray, indicating that your device is now on mute.

Step 3: Unmute Your iPhone

When it’s time to speak, you can quickly unmute your iPhone by tapping the mute button again, which will be highlighted in green. If you muted your iPhone from the control center, you can tap the phone icon to unmute your device.

In summary, muting your iPhone during a conference call can help you avoid any noise pollution and ensure that the call remains professional. Whether you choose to mute your iPhone from the mute button or control center, remember to unmute your device when it’s time to speak. With these simple steps, you can now easily mute your iPhone during any conference call.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
