EVs with the Longest Driving Range, Ranked

1. Tesla Model S Long Range – 405 miles

As the current heavy hitter in its class, the Tesla Model S Long Range leads the pack when it comes to distance. With an estimated EPA range of 405 miles, it holds the crown for the longest-driving electric vehicle on the market.

2. Lucid Air Dream Edition Range – 520 miles (upcoming)

Although not yet available for purchase, the Lucid Air Dream Edition Range is expected to reach an impressive 520 miles on a single charge. If its claims hold true, the Lucid Air will dethrone Tesla once it hits roads.

3. Tesla Model X Long Range – 360 miles

The Tesla Model X Long Range is an all-electric SUV with a remarkable range of 360 miles. Combining a sleek design with long-lasting battery life, this car offers eco-conscious drivers a powerful and functional vehicle choice.

4. Rivian R1T – 314 miles

As an electric pick-up truck, the Rivian R1T blends utility and sustainability with an EPA estimated range of 314 miles on a single charge. Packed with off-roading capabilities and innovative features, this truck proves that electric vehicles can be versatile.

5. Ford Mustang Mach-E California Route 1 – 305 miles

Inspired by its famous petrol counterpart, the Ford Mustang Mach-E California Route 1 has a range of 305 miles per charge. As a crossover between an SUV and sports car, it offers drivers both style and substantial battery life.

6. Volkswagen ID.4 Pro S RWD – 260 miles

The Volkswagen ID.4 Pro S RWD is an approachable all-electric SUV with a driving range of up to 260 miles per charge. Though its range isn’t as lofty as others on this list, it combines affordability with reliability in the electric vehicle space.

7. Chevrolet Bolt EUV – 247 miles

The upcoming Chevrolet Bolt EUV offers a comfortable and spacious driving experience, with an estimated range of up to 247 miles per charge. Its features and accommodations make it a practical option for those looking for an electric crossover.

As the electric vehicle market continues to expand, manufacturers are constantly striving to extend these cars’ driving range, aiming for an attractive and enticing option for potential buyers. With technological advances in battery capacity and charging infrastructure on the rise, more long-range electric vehicles are expected to hit the market in the coming years.
