The ESPN app is widely used by sports enthusiasts all over the world to stay up-to-date on the latest news, scores, highlights, and analysis. However, there may be instances when the app may not function as expected or not work altogether. If you’re experiencing issues with the ESPN app on your device, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered.

Here’s a troubleshooting guide to help you fix the ESPN app not working:

1. Check your internet connection

The ESPN app requires a stable internet connection to function correctly. Ensure that your device is connected to a reliable WiFi or mobile data network. If your internet connection is slow or unstable, this could lead to the app not working correctly. Try resetting your internet connection and see if that resolves the issue.

2. Check for app updates

App developers regularly release updates to fix bugs and improve functionality. If you’ve not updated the ESPN app recently, head to your device’s app store and check if there are any available updates for the app. Download and install the latest version of the ESPN app and see if that resolves the issue.

3. Clear cache and data

If your app is crashing or freezing, it may be due to the accumulation of cached data. Clearing the cache and data of the ESPN app can solve issues such as slow loading or freezing. Head to your device’s settings, locate the ESPN app, and clear the cache and data. Restart the app and see if it’s working correctly.

4. Check device compatibility

The ESPN app may be incompatible with some devices or operating systems. Ensure that your device meets the minimum requirements for the app to work correctly. Check the ESPN app’s official website to verify that your device is compatible with the app.

5. Reinstall the app

If none of the above troubleshooting steps works, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the ESPN app. This will reset the app settings to their default state and remove any corrupted files from the app. Head to your device’s app store, uninstall the ESPN app, and reinstall it again.
