Elden Ring, the highly anticipated action RPG from FromSoftware and Bandai Namco, has finally arrived, and players are eager to explore its vast and ever-changing world. With numerous weapons to choose from, it’s essential to know which are the best ones and where to find them. In this article, we will guide you through some of the most powerful weapons in Elden Ring and their locations.

1. Moonveil Katana

The Moonveil Katana is a must-have weapon for every Dexterity-based build due to its quick slashes and unique weapon skill. It can be found in the Volla Tower after defeating the boss there. To unlock this powerful blade, you will need to defeat the Tower Keeper and obtain the Moonveil Key that drops following their defeat.

2. Reduvia Greatsword

A favorite among Strength-based builds, the Reduvia Greatsword is a heavily damaging weapon with a wide arc of attack. To acquire this massive sword, you need to progress through Raya Lucaria Academy until you reach its second half, where you will face a hostile NPC with a red aura. Defeat this foe, and they will drop the Reduvia Greatsword.

3. Whispering Scythe

The Whispering Scythe is perfect for those who prefer wielding magic alongside a deadly weapon. This hybrid-reaper weapon scales well with both Intelligence and Faith. You can find it in the Kaelid Ore Mine, located in Kaelid Province in Elden Ring. Clear out the mine of enemies guarding precious ores, and your reward will be the Whispering Scythe.

4. Skywarden’s Bow

Ranged enthusiasts shouldn’t fret; Elden Ring has a powerful bow that excels at taking down enemies from a distance – the Skywarden’s Bow. To acquire this deadly ranged weapon, you need to complete a side quest called “The Wayward Skywatcher’s Errand.” The quest can be initiated by talking to the Skywatcher NPC at the Leyndell, Royal Capital region after you’ve defeated the boss there.

5. Pristine Glaive

This polearm gem scales marvelously with Dexterity, making it perfect for melee-focused builds. The Pristine Glaive can be found atop a platform in Liamec’s Observatory in Caelid. To get your hands on this weapon, you will need to perform well-timed jumps and avoid treacherous enemies lurking within the area.

Conclusion

These are merely a handful of the best weapons in Elden Ring – an expansive universe filled with countless secrets waiting to be discovered. As you embark on your journey through the Lands Between, be sure to experiment with different weapon types and upgrades, but most importantly, savor the experience of uncovering new and powerful tools to aid your adventure. Happy hunting!
