A PopSocket is a handy accessory that many people use to get a better grip on their phones and tablets. However, just like any other item, a PopSocket can get dirty over time. In this article, we will guide you through 9 simple steps to clean your PopSocket and keep it looking fresh.

Step 1: Remove the PopSocket from your device

Carefully peel the PopSocket off your phone or tablet by gently lifting it from an edge, working your way around until it comes free.

Step 2: Prepare a cleaning solution

Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water in a small container or bowl. Make sure you don’t use any harsh chemicals or cleansers, as these could potentially damage the PopSocket or its adhesive.

Step 3: Soak a soft cloth in the solution

Dip a soft microfiber cloth or cotton swab into the cleaning solution, making sure it’s damp but not soaking wet. Excess water can seep into the adhesive backing and weaken its hold on your device.

Step 4: Gently clean the surface of the PopSocket

Use the damp cloth or cotton swab to wipe down both sides of the PopSocket, paying particular attention to any dirt, grime, or debris that may have collected in the crevices or on raised areas like logos or patterns.

Step 5: Clean the adhesive backing

Carefully wipe down the adhesive backing with a separate dampened cloth or cotton swab. Avoid using too much liquid so that you don’t compromise its ability to stick back onto your device.

Step 6: Rinse with water

After cleaning, give your PopSocket a quick rinse under running water to remove any soap residue. Be sure not to submerge it for too long, as this can also weaken the adhesive backing.

Step 7: Allow the PopSocket to air dry

Lay the PopSocket on a clean, flat surface to air dry. Make sure it is completely dry before moving on to the next step, as any remaining moisture can affect the adhesive’s performance.

Step 8: Re-attach the PopSocket to your device

Once your PopSocket is completely dry, firmly press it back onto your device, ensuring that it adheres securely in place.

Step 9: Enjoy your clean and refreshed PopSocket!

Now that you’ve successfully cleaned your PopSocket, you can continue to use it with confidence knowing that it’s free of dirt and grime.

By following these simple steps, you can keep your PopSocket looking and feeling brand new. So go ahead and get a grip on your phone in style, while maintaining a clean and functional accessory.
