E. coli Outbreak Linked to McDonald’s Onions

An E. coli outbreak tied to slivered onions served on McDonald’s Quarter Pounder hamburgers has sickened at least 104 people across 14 states, including Michigan. The outbreak has led to 34 hospitalizations and one death. The onions were recalled by Taylor Farms, and the CDC has stated that the risk to the public remains low as the contaminated onions are no longer in circulation.
