Disney+ Autoplay: How to Enable and Disable the Feature

Disney+ is one of the leading streaming services that offers a vast variety of family-friendly content. The platform has a unique feature called Autoplay, which automatically plays the next episode in a TV series or continues to the next suggested content without any intervention from the viewer.

While this feature may be useful for binge-watching enthusiasts, others may find it frustrating. The good news is that Disney+ lets you enable or disable the Autoplay feature at your convenience.

Enabling Autoplay on Disney+

To enable Autoplay on Disney+, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Open the Disney+ app or website and choose the profile you want to enable Autoplay for.

Step 2: Head to the ‘Profile’ icon located at the bottom right of the screen.

Step 3: Select ‘Account’ from the drop-down menu.

Step 4: Scroll down to ‘Autoplay’ and toggle the feature to ‘On.’

Once enabled, the next episode of the series you’re watching on Disney+ will automatically play as soon as the current episode ends.

Disabling Autoplay on Disney+

If you’d rather have more control of what you watch and avoid the auto-play feature, you can easily turn it off as follows:

Step 1: Repeat Steps 1-3 from above.

Step 2: Scroll down to ‘Autoplay’ and toggle the feature to ‘Off.’

With Autoplay turned off, Disney+ will stop playing the next suggested content, giving you a chance to select what to watch next.

Benefits of Enabling or Disabling Autoplay

Enabling the Autoplay feature saves time and energy, especially when binge-watching a series on Disney+. Once you activate it, you don’t have to go through the hassle of selecting the next episode manually.

On the other hand, disabling Autoplay provides more control of what you want to watch, allowing you to take breaks between episodes and avoid watching suggested content that you may not be interested in.
