Construction Worker Convicted of Murdering Elderly Woman
On November 13, 2024, Heber Enoc Diaz, a construction worker, was convicted of the 2019 murder of 76-year-old Chyong Jen Tsai in Arcadia, California. Diaz was found guilty of capital murder and other charges, including burglary and elder abuse. Tsai was brutally attacked in her backyard with a hammer, jab saw, and box cutter. Diaz faces life in prison at his sentencing scheduled for December 16, 2024.
