Colorado Man Arrested for Attempted Murder
On November 13, 2024, Grand Junction police officers responded to a possible stabbing in progress on the 2600 block of Unaweep Ave. The incident involved a fight between two men, one of whom, 22-year-old Evan Gault, grabbed a knife and threatened the other. Both men sustained minor injuries, and Gault was taken to a hospital before being arrested. He faces charges of attempted second-degree murder, menacing with a weapon, violation of a protection order, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
