Club Nintendo Replaced by My Nintendo and Nintendo Account

Nintendo fans around the world mourned the end of an era earlier this year when Club Nintendo, the loyalty program that rewarded players for registering Nintendo products and completing surveys, was officially shut down. However, the company recently introduced My Nintendo and Nintendo Account – two new initiatives designed to provide fans with even more rewards and exclusive content.

My Nintendo is a brand-new rewards program that replaces Club Nintendo. Unlike its predecessor, My Nintendo offers a wide range of benefits beyond just free games and reward points. For instance, members can use their My Nintendo points to purchase discounts on certain Nintendo products or even score exclusive digital items like game soundtracks and wallpapers. They can also use their points to enter contests and sweepstakes for a chance to win incredible prizes.

In addition to My Nintendo, Nintendo is also introducing Nintendo Accounts – a new service aimed at giving fans a more personalized and seamless experience when connecting with Nintendo products and services. By creating a Nintendo Account, players can easily link their various Nintendo devices, access their digital purchases, and even connect with other players around the world.

One of the most exciting features of Nintendo Accounts is the ability to use the same login across multiple devices – for instance, users can use their Nintendo Account to sign in to their 3DS, Wii U, or even the upcoming Nintendo Switch console. This means players can easily access their digital games, save files, and other personal information regardless of which device they’re using.

Of course, Nintendo isn’t forgetting about its existing fans. Fans who had registered for Club Nintendo have the opportunity to transfer their account information to My Nintendo, allowing them to retain their reward points and personal information.

Overall, My Nintendo and Nintendo Accounts are exciting new initiatives for Nintendo fans around the world. Whether it’s earning rewards and exclusive content through My Nintendo, or accessing seamless cross-device connectivity with a Nintendo Account, there’s something for every Nintendo fan to get excited about.
