As ice cream lovers, we all dream of making our very own scrumptious soft serve at home. However, the thought of buying an expensive machine or spending hours churning might hold us back. But fret not! With this Cheater Soft Serve Ice Cream recipe, you can now bring that dream to life – without breaking the bank or your schedule.

In this article, we will guide you through a simplified recipe and a few handy tips that will have your taste buds singing praises in no time. Let’s begin!

Ingredients:

– 2 cups heavy whipping cream

– 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk

– 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

– Pinch of salt

– Optional mix-ins (crushed cookies, chocolate chips, fruit puree, etc.)

Instructions:

1. Begin by cooling a large glass or metal mixing bowl in the freezer for at least 15 minutes. This will help achieve a light and airy texture in your soft serve.

2. Pour the heavy whipping cream into the chilled bowl and use an electric mixer (or whip by hand) to whip the cream on high speed until it reaches stiff peaks – approximately 3 minutes with an electric mixer or 8-10 minutes when whipping by hand. Be cautious not to over-whip!

3. In a separate bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.

4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture using a rubber spatula until fully incorporated and smooth – being careful not to deflate the whipped cream.

5. Now is the time to get creative! Fold in any additional mix-ins you desire (chocolate chips, crushed cookies, fruit puree, etc.) for your personalized soft serve flavor.

6. Transfer your concoction into a lidded container and cover the surface with plastic wrap to prevent ice crystals from forming. Seal the container with the lid and freeze for a minimum of 6 hours, or until it reaches your desired consistency.

7. Once frozen, scoop out your homemade cheater soft serve ice cream and relish the creamy delight! You can also serve it with your favorite toppings or drizzle on some chocolate syrup.

Remember, this Cheater Soft Serve Ice Cream recipe has endless possibilities for flavor variations. Unleash your imagination to create unique treats that will leave your family and friends craving for more. Happy indulging!
