Introduction:

Frosted Flake Chicken Tenders are a delicious twist on a classic comfort food. Coated with crispy, sweet Frosted Flakes cereal, these juicy tenders will become an instant family favorite. This recipe is simple to make and requires minimal ingredients, making it perfect for any weeknight dinner or gathering with friends. Read on to discover how to prepare these irresistibly tasty treats.

Ingredients:

– 1 lb chicken tenders (or boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into strips)

– 2 cups Frosted Flakes cereal

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 2 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– Oil for frying (vegetable or canola oil works best)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the ingredients: In a shallow bowl or plate, add the flour and season with salt and pepper. In another bowl, whisk the eggs well. Crush the Frosted Flakes cereal in a plastic bag or using a food processor and transfer to a third shallow bowl or plate.

2. Bread the chicken: One at a time, dredge the chicken tenders in the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Dip each tender into the whisked eggs, allowing any excess to drip off before transferring it to the crushed Frosted Flakes cereal. Press the cereal onto the tender gently so that it adheres well.

3. Fry the chicken: In a deep frying pan or skillet, heat about half an inch of oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F. Carefully lower each breaded tender into the hot oil with tongs or a fork, taking care not to overcrowd the pan.

4. Cook until golden brown: Fry the tenders for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Be sure to turn them occasionally for even cooking. If necessary, work in batches to prevent overcrowding and ensure proper cooking.

5. Drain and serve: Once the tenders are fully cooked, remove them from the oil with a slotted spoon or tongs and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Allow the tenders to cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce or sides.

Conclusion:

This Best Frosted Flake Chicken Tender Recipe is sure to impress your taste buds and make you question why you haven’t tried this scrumptious combination sooner. The sweet crunch of Frosted Flakes pairs perfectly with the savory chicken tenders, making this dish a delightful crowd-pleaser at any gathering. Now that you know how simple and enjoyable this dish is to prepare, it’ll quickly become your go-to recipe for a satisfying, mouth-watering meal. Enjoy!
