Spread the love

Imagine combining two of your favorite snacks, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and macaroni and cheese, into one amazing dish. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, it’s not! Feast your eyes (and taste buds) on the Best Flamin’ Mac & Cheetos Recipe. This mouthwatering dish is incredibly easy to make and has quickly become a favorite for those who love a spicy kick with their comfort food. Follow this step-by-step guide to create the ultimate Flamin’ Mac & Cheetos at home and leave your family and friends begging for seconds.

Ingredients:

– 1 8-ounce box of elbow macaroni

– 2 cups water

– 1/4 cup milk

– 2 tablespoons butter

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1 cup meltable cheese (cheddar, gouda, or pepper jack)

– 1 cup crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos

– Optional: green onions or jalapeños for garnish

Instructions:

1. Begin by boiling the 2 cups of water in a medium-sized saucepan over high heat. Add the elbow macaroni once the water is boiling and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, approximately 7-8 minutes.

2. Drain the cooked macaroni in a colander and set aside. In the same saucepan, melt butter over medium heat before adding milk and salt. Stir milk mixture well to combine ingredients.

3. Once your butter mixture is properly combined, gradually add your choice of meltable cheese to the saucepan. Continue stirring until cheese is completely melted and smooth.

4. Add the cooked elbow macaroni back into the saucepan with the cheese sauce, making sure to thoroughly mix everything together, ensuring all the macaroni is evenly coated with cheesy goodness.

5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while you prepare your topping. Crush the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos by placing them in a resealable plastic bag and using a rolling pin to crush them into tiny pieces.

6. In a casserole dish, pour your cheesy macaroni mixture and spread it out evenly. Then, sprinkle the crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos across the top, completely covering the macaroni.

7. Carefully place your casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 10-15 minutes, or until Flamin’ Hot Cheetos have turned golden brown and crispy on top.

8. Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. To add an extra level of flavor and color to your dish, garnish with green onions or jalapeños (optional).

Serve this spicy twist on classic macaroni and cheese as a main course or delicious side dish. One bite of this Best Flamin’ Mac & Cheetos Recipe will have you craving more of its gooey, spicy, cheesy greatness! Enjoy and prepare to impress everyone at your table with this memorable meal that’s destined to become a favorite for years to come.
