Electric cars have become increasingly popular in recent years, and for good reason. They provide a cleaner and more sustainable way to travel. While single-motor electric cars have been available for some time, dual-motor EVs are becoming more readily available, offering greater acceleration, more consistent handling, and all-wheel drive capabilities. Here are some of the best dual-motor EVs currently for sale.

1. Tesla Model S

The Tesla Model S has long been considered one of the best EVs on the market, and its dual-motor option is no exception. With the ability to reach 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds, the Model S Performance can compete with some of the fastest sports cars on the road. The dual-motor setup also provides excellent handling and traction, making it an ideal choice for drivers in areas with inclement weather.

2. Jaguar I-PACE

The Jaguar I-PACE is a luxury electric SUV that boasts an impressive dual-motor setup. With a 0-60 mph time of just 4.5 seconds, the I-PACE is no slouch in the acceleration department. The all-wheel drive capabilities also provide excellent handling on a variety of road surfaces, and the range of up to 234 miles on a single charge is more than sufficient for most drivers.

3. Audi e-tron

The Audi e-tron is another luxury electric SUV that features a dual-motor setup. With a range of up to 222 miles on a single charge, the e-tron can handle long-distance trips with ease. It also offers a comfortable and spacious interior, making it a great choice for families. The all-wheel drive capabilities provide excellent traction in all types of weather conditions.

4. Porsche Taycan

The Porsche Taycan is a four-door luxury sedan that offers impressive performance and handling. With a 0-60 mph time of just 2.6 seconds in the top-end Turbo S model, the Taycan can keep up with some of the fastest sports cars on the market. The dual-motor setup also provides all-wheel drive capabilities, giving the car excellent traction on a variety of road surfaces.

5. Ford Mustang Mach-E

The Ford Mustang Mach-E is an electric SUV that features a dual-motor setup. It offers a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge, making it one of the longest-range EVs on the market. The all-wheel drive capabilities also provide excellent traction and handling, and the overall design of the car pays homage to the classic Mustang while incorporating modern EV technology.

In conclusion, the dual-motor setup offers many advantages for EV drivers, including better acceleration, consistent handling, and all-wheel drive capabilities. These five EVs are some of the best options currently for sale, each offering unique features and performance capabilities. As the EV market continues to expand, we can expect to see even more dual-motor options becoming available in the coming years.
