Introduction:

If you are a fan of Dr. Pepper, then this is the perfect cake recipe for you! Introducing the delectable Dr. Pepper Poke Cake – a unique dessert that combines your favorite soda with a moist, flavorful cake. With each bite, you will experience a burst of flavors that will leave your taste buds craving for more. Read on to learn how to make the best Dr. Pepper Poke Cake!

Ingredients:

– 1 box chocolate cake mix

– 1 1/4 cups Dr. Pepper

– 1/2 cup vegetable oil

– 3 large eggs

– 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix (3.9 oz)

– 1 cup milk

– 1 cup heavy whipping cream

– 1/2 cup powdered sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– Optional garnish: maraschino cherries, crushed pecans, and chocolate shavings

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, Dr. Pepper, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until the ingredients are well combined and smooth.

3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly using a spatula.

4. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

5. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly before using the end of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over it.

6. In another bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and milk until smooth and thickened.

7. Pour the pudding mixture over the warm cake, ensuring that it fills up the holes evenly. Gently tap the pan on the countertop to get rid of any air bubbles. Allow the cake to cool completely at room temperature.

8. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.

9. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled cake and garnish with maraschino cherries, crushed pecans, or chocolate shavings as desired.

10. Refrigerate your Dr. Pepper Poke Cake for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Conclusion:

Your delicious Dr. Pepper Poke Cake is now ready to serve! This easy-to-make recipe is perfect for special occasions, gatherings, or just because you feel like
