As a parent, one of the most important moments in your child’s life is when they start driving. It’s a time filled with excitement and nervousness, especially when it comes to monitoring your new teen driver. Thankfully, there are a variety of apps available that can help you keep track of your new driver, ensuring their safety and your peace of mind. Here are some of the best apps for tracking your teen driver.

  1. TrueMotion Family

TrueMotion Family is an app that monitors your teen’s driving behavior, including their speed, acceleration, and braking. The app also sends you alerts if your teen drives too fast or uses their phone while driving. You can also use the app to track your teen’s location, making sure they stick to their designated routes.

  1. Life360

Life360 is a comprehensive app that provides real-time location tracking, as well as alerts for speeding, texting while driving, and other unsafe behavior. The app also allows you to set up customized alerts for specific locations, such as school or work.

  1. Family Link

Google’s Family Link is an app that helps parents monitor their child’s smartphone usage, including usage while driving. The app allows you to set up digital ground rules for your child’s phone use, such as blocking certain apps or setting a bedtime for their phone. You can also lock your child’s phone remotely if they’re driving and you want to make sure they’re not distracted.

  1. Drivemode

Drivemode is an app that simplifies your teen’s smartphone while they’re driving, making it easier for them to keep their eyes on the road. The app automatically enables a do-not-disturb mode when it detects that your teen is driving, and it can read incoming messages out loud and respond with voice commands.

  1. Canary

Canary is a device that attaches to your teen’s car and provides real-time location tracking, as well as alerts for speeding, harsh braking, and other unsafe driving behavior. The device also includes a panic button that your teen can use if they’re in an emergency situation.
