Apple iPhone 11 Review: The Best $700 iPhone Apple Has Ever Made

In the world of smartphones, there’s no denying that Apple’s iPhone has consistently set the bar high. With the release of the iPhone 11, Apple has managed to maintain this gold standard with improved features and an affordable price point. Retailing at just $700, the iPhone 11 is arguably the best iPhone yet in terms of value for money, while still packing some powerful specs.

Design and Display

The iPhone 11 boasts a sleek and sophisticated design that is both visually appealing and functional. The device features a glass back and aluminum frame, which gives it a premium feel without adding too much weight. In terms of colors, there are six options to choose from: Black, Green, Yellow, Purple, PRODUCT(RED), and White.

The iPhone 11’s display measures at 6.1 inches with a Liquid Retina HD display. Although it may not offer the OLED display found on higher-end models like the iPhone 11 Pro or Pro Max, it still provides excellent color accuracy and brightness levels.

Camera Capabilities

One of the most significant enhancements of the iPhone 11 is its camera capabilities. With dual 12MP rear cameras – one wide lens and one ultra-wide lens – users can capture stunning images with improved low-light performance, thanks to Apple’s Night Mode feature. Additionally, users can expect 2x optical zoom out and digital zoom up to 5x.
When it comes to video recording capabilities, the iPhone 11 doesn’t disappoint either. It offers impressive features such as extended dynamic range for video up to 60 fps, time-lapse video with stabilization, and even slo-mo support for both front and rear cameras.

Performance and Battery Life

Under the hood, the iPhone 11 operates on Apple’s A13 Bionic chip – yet another powerful processor from Apple but also energy-efficient. This chip provides smooth performance, handling everything from basic tasks to graphically intensive games and apps without breaking a sweat.

Battery life is always a critical consideration when it comes to smartphones, and the iPhone 11 delivers. With video playback of up to 17 hours and audio playback of up to 65 hours, the iPhone 11 can last a full day under normal usage with ease. The device also supports fast-charge capabilities and is wireless charging compatible.

iOS and Additional Features

Running on iOS 13 out of the box, the iPhone 11 benefits from Apple’s well-optimized operating system and the array of exclusive features that come along with it. Users can enjoy built-in privacy features, Dark Mode, and an all-new Photos app for improved editing tools.

Other notable features of the iPhone 11 include Face ID for secure and quick authentication, water resistance (IP68), spatial audio for immersive sound experience, and dual SIM support with eSIM.

Closing Thoughts

The $700 iPhone 11 delivers a powerful smartphone experience at an affordable price. With its impressive camera capabilities, performance enhancements, and an array of additional features, it truly earns its title as ‘the best $700 iPhone Apple has ever made.’ Whether you’re upgrading from a previous iPhone model or venturing into the Apple ecosystem for the first time, the iPhone 11 is an excellent choice.
