Spread the love

As a travel blogger with an insatiable hunger for new experiences, I’ve traversed the vast landscapes of North Texas and delved into its many indoor attractions. For those seeking fun away from the scorching heat or occasional chill, here are my ultimate picks of indoor places to explore and enjoy.

1.Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Dallas – This marvel is a paradise for the curious at heart. With five floors of interactive exhibits, it’s perfect for all ages. Don’t miss the T. rex skeleton and the earthquake simulator!

2.iFLY Indoor Skydiving, Frisco – Experience the thrill of skydiving without jumping from a plane. It’s exhilarating for thrill-seekers and is as educational as it is exciting.

3.Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark, Grand Prairie – Imagine a water-filled adventure under a retractable roof! With slides for daredevils and lazy rivers for relaxing, this spot guarantees year-round fun.

4.National Videogame Museum, Frisco – A hidden gem for gaming enthusiasts! Whether you’re nostalgic for retro games or keen on learning about gaming history, this place offers a unique journey through the evolution of video games.

5.The Escape Game Dallas – Located in Grapevine, this spot challenges you and your friends to solve puzzles and escape themed rooms within 60 minutes.

6.Bishop Cidercade, Dallas – An adult arcade where you can sip on locally crafted ciders while playing an array of classic and new arcade games. A playful night out for grown-ups!

7.Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth – Although not exclusively an indoor venue, the museum’s stunning architecture houses a world-class collection of artwork spanning centuries, perfect for a day of cultural enrichment.

8.Cutting Edge Haunted House, Fort Worth – This haunted house holds a Guinness World Record and offers chills and thrills that aren’t limited to Halloween.

9.Alley Cats Entertainment Center, Arlington – Bowling, laser tag, rock climbing—a haven for those looking to stay active while having fun indoors.

10.Texas Star Dinner Theater, Grapevine – Dine with a side of mystery! Enjoy entertaining shows with comedic twists where guests get to be part of the storyline.

North Texas is brimming with indoor attractions that offer respite from the weather without compromising on adventure or entertainment. Whether you’re in search of an adrenaline rush or a quiet day surrounded by art and history, there’s something indoors for everyone in this vibrant corner of the Lone Star State!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
