The taskbar in Windows 11 is an essential part of the operating system, providing quick access to frequently used apps and system settings. By default, the taskbar is located at the bottom of the screen, but you can change its alignment to better suit your preferences. In this article, we’ll show you how to change the taskbar alignment in Windows 11.

Steps to Change Taskbar Alignment

1.Right-click on an empty space on the taskbar. This will open a context menu with various options.

2.Hover over the “Taskbar settings” option, and click on it.

3.In the Taskbar settings window, scroll down to the “Taskbar behaviors” section.

4.Under the “Taskbar alignment” option, click on the dropdown menu and select the alignment you want. The available options are “Bottom”, “Left”, “Right”, and “Top”.

5.Once you have selected the new alignment, you will see that the taskbar has moved to the new position.

6.Close the Taskbar settings window to save your changes.

Conclusion

Changing the taskbar alignment in Windows 11 is a simple process that can be done in just a few clicks. Whether you prefer the taskbar at the bottom, left, right, or top of the screen, Windows 11 provides the flexibility to customize it to your liking. With these steps, you can easily change the taskbar alignment in Windows 11 and make the operating system work better for you.
