Spotify is one of the most popular music streaming platforms in the world. It provides users with easy access to a vast collection of songs and podcasts. However, listening to Spotify while driving can be dangerous, as it can distract drivers from the road.

To address this issue, Spotify has introduced a car mode feature that is designed specifically for drivers. The car mode simplifies the interface, making it easier to control the music playback while driving. In this article, we will show you how to enable and disable car mode on Spotify.

Enabling Car Mode on Spotify

To enable car mode on Spotify, you need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the Spotify app on your phone.

Step 2: Tap on the gear icon located at the top right corner to access the app settings.

Step 3: Scroll down until you find the “Car” option under the Playback section. Tap on it.

Step 4: Toggle the switch to enable car mode.

Once you have turned on car mode, the app’s interface will change, making it easier to use while driving. The buttons will become larger, and the text will be more prominent, making it easier to read while you’re on the move.

Disabling Car Mode on Spotify

If you no longer need to use car mode, you can disable it by following these steps:

Step 1: Open the Spotify app on your phone.

Step 2: Access the app’s settings by tapping the gear icon at the top right corner.

Step 3: Scroll down to the “Car” option under the Playback section.

Step 4: Toggle the switch to disable car mode.

After disabling car mode, the app’s interface will revert to its usual appearance. You can continue to use Spotify normally, but remember to not use it while driving.

Final Thoughts

Spotify’s car mode is an excellent feature that can help make driving safer while you listen to your favorite tunes. Make it a habit to use car mode every time you drive and disable it when you’re done. With these simple steps, you’ll be able to enjoy the benefits of using Spotify while also ensuring your safety on the road.
