Google Slides is a powerful tool for creating presentations, charts, and diagrams for both personal and professional purposes. While most people know how to use basic features on this platform, not everyone knows how to draw on Google Slides.

Drawing on Google Slides is a straightforward process, and with a few simple steps, you can create impressive illustrations to make your presentation more engaging and memorable.

Here’s how to draw on Google Slides:

Step 1: Open a New or Existing Google Slides Presentation

If you have not yet created a presentation, start by creating a new document on Google Drive and selecting the “Google Slides” option. If you already have a document, open it.

Step 2: Insert a New Slide

To add a new slide, click on “New Slide” or “+,” located on the toolbar.

Step 3: Select the Drawing Option

Once you are on the new slide, select the “Insert” option from the top menu and click on “Drawing.” You can either choose to create a new drawing or add an existing drawing by clicking on the respective options.

Step 4: Start Drawing

Google Slides provides you with several drawing tools to choose from. Select the pen type and color that you want to use by clicking on the “Line” icon on the toolbar. You can also choose different line thicknesses, arrowheads, colors, and shapes.

Step 5: Edit and Customize the Drawing

Once you start drawing, you can edit and customize each shape by resizing or reshaping it, moving it around as needed, or adding text to it.

Step 6: Save the Drawing

Once you are satisfied with your drawing, click on the “Save and Close” button to add it to your slide.

Step 7: Share Your Slides

You can easily share your Google Slides with others by clicking on “Share,” located on the top right corner of the screen. This will allow other people to view or edit your presentation, depending on your sharing settings.

In conclusion, drawing on Google Slides is an easy and effective way to enhance presentations and create visually engaging content. With just a few simple steps, you can create eye-catching illustrations, charts, and diagrams that will keep your audience captivated. So, why not give it a try and start drawing on Google Slides?
