Outlook Mail is a web-based email service provided by Microsoft. It is also known as Outlook.com and is used by millions of people around the world. It offers a range of features to its users such as sending and receiving emails, managing contacts, calendars, and tasks. In addition to this, users can also create folders to organize their emails. However, there may be times when you want to delete a folder in Outlook Mail. In this article, we will guide you on how to delete a folder in Outlook Mail at Outlook.com.

Step 1: Log in to Outlook Mail

The first step in deleting a folder in Outlook Mail is to log in to your account. Go to www.outlook.com and enter your email address and password to login. If you have already signed in, skip this step.

Step 2: Go to Folder List

Once you have logged in, you will see your inbox and other folders. Look for the “Folder List” icon on the bottom left-hand side of the screen. Click on it, and you will see a list of all your folders.

Step 3: Select the Folder you want to Delete

Scroll down the list of folders and locate the one you want to delete. Click on the folder to select it.

Step 4: Delete the Folder

Once you have selected the folder, right-click on it. A drop-down menu will appear. Click on the “Delete Folder” option from the menu.

Step 5: Confirm Deletion

A message will appear on the screen asking if you’re sure you want to delete the folder. Click on “Yes” to confirm.

Step 6: The Folder is Deleted

Congratulations! The folder has been successfully deleted from your Outlook Mail account.

Conclusion

However, be sure that you want to delete the folder before going ahead with the process. Once the folder is deleted, all the emails and other items inside it will be lost forever.
