How to Block Someone on Snapchat

Snapchat is one of the most popular social media apps in the world with over 280 million active users. It allows people to send pictures and videos, which are called snaps, that disappear after a short period of time. It’s a great way to keep in touch with friends and family, but sometimes you may need to block someone on the app.

Blocking someone on Snapchat is a simple process that can be done in a few easy steps. Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: Open the Snapchat app

The first step is to open the Snapchat app on your device. You can do this by tapping on the app icon on your home screen or in your app drawer.

Step 2: Go to the user’s profile

Next, go to the profile of the user you want to block. You can do this by either searching for their username in the search bar or by swiping down on the camera screen to access your friends list and then choosing their profile.

Step 3: Tap on their username

Once you’re on their profile, tap on their username to open up their profile information.

Step 4: Tap on the three dots

In the top right corner of their profile, you’ll see three dots. Tap on those dots to bring up a list of options.

Step 5: Choose ‘Block’

One of the options on the list will be ‘Block’. Tap on that button to block the user.

Step 6: Confirm the action

A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm the action. Tap on ‘Block’ again to confirm that you want to block this user.

And that’s it! The user will now be blocked on Snapchat, and they won’t be able to send you snaps or messages anymore. They also won’t be able to see your story or your profile.

It’s important to note that when you block someone on Snapchat, they won’t be notified that they’ve been blocked. However, they may be able to figure it out on their own if they try to send you a snap or message and it doesn’t go through.

If you ever change your mind and want to unblock someone on Snapchat, you can do so by following the same steps but choosing ‘Unblock’ instead of ‘Block’ in step 5. Keep in mind that unblocking someone will not restore any messages or snaps that were previously sent between the two of you.

In conclusion, blocking someone on Snapchat is a quick and easy way to remove unwanted users from your friends list. Just follow the steps outlined above, and you’ll be able to block anyone that you don’t want to interact with on the app.
