Cookies are small text files that websites send to your device to track your activity and preferences. If you use an Android device to access the internet, you may need to enable cookies for some sites to function properly. In this article, we’ll show you how to enable cookies on your Android device.

Step 1: Open your Android device’s settings

Swipe down from the top of your device’s screen to access the notification shade, then tap the gear icon to open the settings app.

Step 2: Scroll down and select “Apps & Notifications”

Scroll down the list of available options in the settings app and select “Apps & Notifications” from the list.

Step 3: Select the browser you want to enable cookies for

Scroll down the list of apps and select the browser that you use to access the internet. For example, if you use Chrome, select “Google Chrome.”

Step 4: Tap “Storage & Cache”

After selecting the browser, you will be taken to its settings page. Tap “Storage & Cache” in the options menu.

Step 5: Find and enable “Cookies and Site data”

The “Storage & Cache” page will display two options: “Clear cache” and “Clear storage.” Scroll down and under the “Site settings” section, select “Cookies and site data.”

Step 6: Enable cookies

In the “Cookies and Site data” menu, make sure the switch next to “Allow cookies” is turned on.

Step 7: Optional: customize cookie settings

If you wish to customize your cookie settings according to your preferences, you can choose to block third-party cookies or allow cookies only from trusted sites.

Step 8: Restart your browser

After you have enabled cookies for your browser, close and reopen it to ensure that the changes take effect.

In conclusion, enabling cookies on your Android device is a simple process that involves accessing your device’s settings and toggling a few options. By enabling cookies, you will be able to access sites that require cookies to function properly and enjoy a seamless internet browsing experience.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
