How to Buy Ringtones on the iPhone

If you are an iPhone owner, it is possible to customize your phone’s ringtone to suit your preference. You can purchase ringtones directly from the iTunes store or make use of the built-in settings on the iPhone that enables you to create customized ringtones. In this article, we outline how you can buy ringtones on the iPhone and customize ready-made ringtones to suit your taste.

How to Buy Ringtones on the iPhone

1. Launch the iTunes Store app on your iPhone.

2. Tap on the ‘More’ button located at the bottom right corner of the screen.

3. From the list of available options, select ‘Tones.’

4. Browse through the available ringtones and select your preferred ringtone.

5. Tap on the ‘Buy’ button next to the ringtone to purchase it. Your payment information will be requested, and the purchase will be made.

6. Once the purchase is complete, the new tone will be added to your ringtone list.

7. To set the new ringtone, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and select the purchased ringtone from the list.

How to Customize Ready-Made Ringtones on the iPhone

1. Choose a ringtone from the list of the ringtones available on your device.

2. Click on ‘Edit’ located next to the name of the ringtone.

3. To trim the ringtone, move the slider to the point where you want the ringtone to start and end. Ensure that the ringtone is no longer than 40 seconds as it is the maximum length allowed.

4. Click on ‘Save’ to save your edited ringtone.

5. To set the new ringtone, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and select the ringtone from the list.

Additionally, it is possible to customize ready-made ringtones to make them unique to your taste.
